Get to Know Us.
ShebaStyle is a bold, luxury consignment brand curating timeless, culture-rich fashion for those who dress with intention, confidence, and unapologetic individuality.
Our Roots.
Founded in 2015 by Wahidah S. Fowler, the youngest of three daughters, ShebaStyle was born from a lineage of Harlem artistry and hustle. Her mother ran a beloved street-side business known as Naomi’s African House of Pillows, selling vibrant, hand-sewn garments and home goods on 125th Street. Her father, a jewelry designer, filled their small two-bedroom apartment on 145th and St. Nicholas with handcrafted treasures and creative spirit.
From Harlem to the South
Wahidah’s journey from Harlem to Brooklyn during junior high school, and later to Atlanta after college, shaped the foundation of ShebaStyle. She studied fine arts at SUNY Purchase, before earning her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Medgar Evers College. That blend of creative expression and business acumen fuels the brand today.
Inspired by the Arts
ShebaStyle was birthed from Wahidah’s deep exposure to the arts — a life saturated in music, from hip-hop to jazz, rock to R&B. Her visual influences span from Basquiat, Kehinde Wiley, and Jackson Pollock to Stella McCartney, Nakimuli, and Louis Vuitton. Having seen the world through these layered lenses, her fashion instincts were never limited — only expanded. ShebaStyle is where heritage meets high fashion and expressive freedom.
Our Purpose
At its core, ShebaStyle is a luxury consignment brand offering lightly worn clothing and vintage fashion selected with intentionality. Like ripe fruit, every item is handpicked for those with an acquired taste for style that is fearless, diverse, and unapologetic.
